Well, and to motivate his personality change, which, I admit to kind of digging.
For some reason I didn't think of this.
I thought maybe nearly dying would be enough to trigger something, so that even if Kup (And lets be honest, Roadbuster could of easily picked Perceptor up out of there and could of still kept fighting) had made sure Perceptor got out and rehabilitated him, he'd still be trumatised. I mean, Kup's been through this too! And Percy rebuilt him! Either way, it just means more to explore for us fandom people; you write him brilliantly.
