Wooooooow. My head is spinning. Your headcanon is so fascinating. It really makes me want to know more about Wing's past, and why he wants to escape it so thoroughly (aside from being trapped at Altihex). And I loved the ritual overall. Wing's reactions are so worth savoring, and it is so gratifying to see the gentle side of Dai Atlas, especially in a situation like this.
